Join the BSOC for our platinum anniversary season.
The Classic Series continues on January 23 with Vivaldi's Four Seasons at the Lockwood Performing Arts Center in the new Lockwood High School. All performances will also be live-streamed for everyone's safety and convenience. Tickets for the Classic Series can be purchased here.
The BSOC, in accordance with guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, and Yellowstone County Public Health Officials at RiverStone Health, have crafted risk mitigation protocols to guide their gatherings. The orchestra performers, as well as the audience, will be socially distanced per public health recommendations. Universal mask-wearing on and off stage for patrons and musicians is mandatory. Sanitation protocols will be carried out per CDC guidelines.
All BSOC personnel will be screened through a daily health assessment, and patrons who are possibly sick or exposed to Covid-19 are asked not to attend live but take advantage of the live- streaming option for each concert. The duration of concerts will be scaled to meet the moment. New partners in the Classic Series at the Lockwood Performing Arts Center and the Sukin series at The Depot and The Babcock Theater are equally committed to health and safety ideals.
The BSOC Covid-19 Health and Safety Policy can be found by following this link: billingssymphony.org. The practices enumerated in their policy apply to current guidelines, recognizing that the Governor of Montana or Yellowstone County public health officials may mandate future restrictions that will alter this policy. Moreover, the BSOC’s Health and Safety Taskforce will continue to evaluate ongoing and emerging research specific to Covid-19 and public, musical performances and will update their policy accordingly.
