Billings Symphony Chorale Auditions
Auditions for the Billings Symphony Chorale will take place Tuesday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Billings Symphony Chorale Director Dr. Steven Hart invites vocalists ages 15 or older to audition. Each person should prepare a solo to perform (classical, Broadway, opera, etc.) and will be asked to sight-read a choral score. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring two copies of the solo vocal material.
Auditions are by reservation only for both dates and will run from approximately 7:00–8:00 PM. Ten-minute time slots will be scheduled on a first-come basis. These will be held at the Billings Symphony Office located at 2820 2nd Avenue N, Billings, MT 59101. Rehearsals are held weekly on Monday nights from August through April. Rehearsal locations vary.

Substitute-Only Auditions
The Billings Symphony is currently accepting substitute-only videotaped auditions for all positions. Submissions are accepted throughout the year. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
