How do I access the Billings Symphony’s live-stream concerts?

After completing your ticket purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions and your private ticket access link good for either the 7:30 PM for Classic Series concerts or 7:00 PM for Sukin Series concerts. Click the large blue button in your confirmation email; your access code will be validated, and the video player will launch in your internet browser (we recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox). After you have agreed to the terms and services by clicking the box, your countdown will begin. Each performance begins promptly at showtime. You can watch on most internet-connected devices with email access, including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, and select smart TVs.

I’m a Billings Symphony subscriber, are live-stream concerts and on-demand included in my subscription?

Thank you for being a subscriber! The live-stream performances are included with your subscription.

How long will I be able to watch the performance?

The live-stream link is only available for the evening performance either at 7:30 PM for Classic Series or 7:00 PM for Sukin Series concerts. On-demand for each performance is available for purchase 72 hours after the live performance and is available to watch for 72 hours after purchase. Your ticket access to live-stream and on-demand is unique and cannot be shared.

What should I do if I misplaced my ticket access link?

No need to worry! We will send you a performance reminder with your ticket access link (s) the day before each performance. Your ticket access link is unique and cannot be shared.

Is the performance password protected?

Yes. Your ticket access link is unique and cannot be shared. If you switch devices or try to log into a second device with your private ticket access link, the stream will cease on the original device and continue in the newly logged-in device.

Can I view the performances offline?

Not currently. Our performances are not downloadable. You will need to watch the show from our streaming service via a reliable internet connection.

I clicked on my ticket access link and got one of the following error codes:

ERROR: “This video is not yet available”

This means your ticket access link works perfectly, but the stream is not yet available. Try again 5 to 10 minutes before showtime!

Error: “This access code has expired."

Your private ticket access link is no longer valid. If you feel you have received this message in error, please call our Box Office for help at 406.252.3610.

Error: “This access code has exceeded the maximum amount of concurrent viewers. Please make sure that you are not streaming on multiple devices. Return to watch on those other devices or close those to resume the stream here. It may take up to three minutes for the stream to resume.”

Another device has just accessed the stream using your private ticket access link. Each ticket is valid for viewing the show one time on one device only. If you would like to share the show with a friend, your friend will need to purchase their own ticket.

Do’s and Don’ts

DO test your connections ahead of time. Click the link at any time. This will not prevent you from doing it again at the time of the event.

DO use a modern internet browser. Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge will not support our virtual platform. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

DO contact us if you cannot find your confirmation. As with all technology, email can be tricky. Sometimes your email confirmation and/or reminder emails go directly to junk or spam folders. If you cannot locate your confirmation, please email symphony@billingssymphony.org

Don’t pause, rewind, or fast forward your live stream. Live-streams happen in real-time.

Don’t share your ticket. Your access link allows you to view on one device at a time. If you share your link, and that person joins after you, the system will remove you from the platform.

Live-Stream vs. On-Demand

Live-stream events take place at a specific date and time. You cannot go back and watch these events later. They are only viewable at the listed date and time, just like an in-person event.

On-demand events provide you with access to the pre-recorded performance of the live-stream concert. You have 72 hours from the time of purchase to watch it.

I still have questions!

We are always here to help! Please contact our Box Office at symphony@billingssymphony.org or 406.252.3610.
