Don’t miss the free Master Clinic with Joseph Parrish (Baritone) and Suzanne Ramo (Soprano)!
Parrish and Ramo will host a free Masterclinic at Cisel Hall on the campus of Montana State University Billings at 3:30 pm. Select students of the MSU-Billings Chorus will have to opportunity to learn from these two prominent voices.
This event is free for public viewing.
ABOUT JOSEPH PARRISH & SUZANNE RAMO
JOSEPH PARRISH | BARITONE
With his rich, warm voice and impeccable technique, bass-baritone Joseph Parrish is an impressive and versatile talent, wowing the audience at the prestigious Susan Wadsworth Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 2022 (which he won). The Juilliard Vocal Arts Masters student enjoys a robust concert career, was an apprentice artist at the Santa Fe Opera, and has performed with Festival Napa Valley and New York’s City Lyric Opera, among others.
SUZANNE RAMO | SOPRANO
Lauded by the San Francisco Chronicle for an ease with coloratura that one hears “blazing forth brightly” as well as her “lyrical phrasing sweetly rendered,” soprano Suzanne Ramo recently brought her crystalline soprano to Orff’s Carmina Burana with Ballet Austin, and returned to the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra for the title role of Donizetti’s Rita. Ms. Ramo recently returned to Austin Lyric Opera as Constance in Les dialogues des Carmélites, a portrayal that earned her a nomination for an Austin Critics’ Table Award as best singer of the season.
