Have you ever wondered just how much air it takes to get the trumpet to make a sound? Or have you ever thought that it would be fun to get jiggy with a violin? Or maybe you just really really want to see what it’s like to crash cymbals together. Well, now you can! In our biggest instrument petting zoo of the season, you can travel around String Street, Woodwind Way, Brass Boulevard, and Percussion Plaza in the Billings Public Library to try just about every orchestra instrument you could imagine.
The free event will close with a performance by the Billings Symphony Musicians at 11:30, so make sure you stick around!
This Free Family offering is our largest Instrument Petting Zoo of the season! Made for all ages, walk through the streets of the orchestra and learn about the different types of instruments you can play and how to play them. The day ends with a special concert from you Billings Symphony musicians!
