Featured Artist: Whitney Kimpton
Featured Music: Billings Symphony Chorale caroling musicians

Whitney Kimpton is showing her recent work exploring realism, form, and color-abstraction, centered around the individualism of her main subject matter: birds, wildlife, and horses. Additionally, the Billings Symphony will feature its Symphony Chorale musicians from 6:00-8:00 PM performing holiday carols.

Whitney Kimpton will be our featured artists.

Born in south-central Montana, she centralizes her work around a coalescence of influences. Horses, and at rare times, other animals, provide the life and the carriers of a thought; math hearkens to the concise and historical nature of measurements and tradition. The form of the environment, land, and plants give shape within each piece of work, and lines and colors speak to the process found in geological time: erosion, compaction, and layers.

Our featured musicians will be from the Billings Symphony Chorale. They'll bring their beautiful harmonies together for some classic holiday carols.
