Billings Symphony Orchestra to Present Season Finale on April 27 at the Alberta Bair Theater

BILLINGS, MT (April 12, 2024) – The Billings Symphony is thrilled to announce the exciting finale to its 2023/24 season, taking place on April 27 at the Alberta Bair Theater. This captivating concert will feature a unique side-by-side performance by the Billings Symphony Youth Repertory Orchestra and the Billings Symphony Orchestra.

The talented musicians of the orchestras will kick off the evening with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s beloved Marriage of Figaro Overture, showcasing their dedication and passion for classical music. This special side-by-side performance will highlight the exceptional musical talents of the young performers as they collaborate with the seasoned members of the Billings Symphony Orchestra.

Following the side-by-side performance, the Billings Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Anne Harrigan, Vincent W. & Janet M. Carpenter Music Director, will take the stage to perform Gustav Mahler’s powerful Symphony No. 1 “Titan”. This monumental work, known for its emotional depth and grandeur, will captivate audiences with its lush textures and dynamic melodies.
