Billings Symphony Orchestra to share new season with Laurel patrons May 2

The Billings Symphony Orchestra is taking to the road to promote the new season and new opportunities for young patrons. Next stop — Laurel.

BSO executive director Mario Lopez is teaming up with Laurel resident and vice president of the BSO board Margit Thorndal to present a season preview of the BSO’s 75th season on Thursday, May 2, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Laurel Gold Club. Light snacks and a no-host bar will be offered.

“The idea is to go to different cities, introduce Mario and talk about the new season,” Thorndal said. “People see Mario on the stage, now they can meet him in person.”
