Renowned Maestro Robert Moody to deliver stupendous performance of Brahms’ “A German Requiem”

Billings, Montana – January, 23, 2024

The Billings Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce an exceptional concert with an array of exceptionally talented performers. Scheduled to captivate audiences on February 10, 2024, at 7:30 pm at the Alberta Bair Theater in Billings, this performance promises an unforgettable evening of divine music.

Highlighting the concert is one of the foremost conductors of Brahms’ A German Requiem in the United States—Maestro Robert Moody. Possessing an unrivaled ability to infuse emotions into every note, Maestro Moody’s interpretation promises to enrapture attendees in an overwhelming auditory experience.

Accompanying the Billings Symphony Orchestra for this transformative rendition of A German Requiem are the esteemed Billings Symphony Chorale, Montana State University-Billings Choir, and the exceptionally talented solo artists Suzanne Ramo (Soprano) and Joseph Parrish (Baritone). Collectively, they bring years of expertise to the stage, captivating audiences with their unparalleled voices.

Adding to the astounding repertoire of the evening is Carl Maria von Weber’s Hungarian Andante and Rondo, presented with fervor and precision by former Billings Symphony bassoon intern and recipient of the prestigious MASO (Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras) competition, Julien Rollins. Rollins will make his highly anticipated solo debut, mesmerizing the audience with the masterful artistry he has honed throughout his career.

Immerse yourself in an evening of symphonic excellence.
