Seattle-based Harpsichordist Byron Schenkman and Friends to Perform Sweeter Than Roses at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral in Billings, Montana

Billings, MT – May 2, 2022 – The Billings Symphony is pleased to announce the upcoming Sukin Series concert featuring Schenkman & Friends (Now known as Sound Salon) performing Sweeter Than Roses on May 16. The evening will showcase English Baroque love songs in the resonant yet intimate setting of the Co-Cathedral.

Harpsichordist Byron Schenkman and talented friends will present a program of music by renowned composers such as Henry Purcell, George Frideric Handel, Elisabetta de Gambarini, John Stanley, and Ignatius Sancho. The concert will highlight the intricate melodies and rich harmonies of the Baroque era, transporting audiences back in time to a period of both elegance and passion.
We are thrilled to bring this special concert to the St. Patrick Co-Cathedral in Billings. The acoustics of the space are perfect for this repertoire, and we can’t wait to share these beautiful love songs with our audience.
