Strings Attached: Ahn Trio will set the stage ablaze with a radiant performance at the Alberta Bair Theater

Billings, Montana – January 5, 2024 – The Ahn Trio, critically acclaimed for their innovative performances,
is all set to grace the stage of the renowned Alberta Bair Theater on January 20, 2024. Collaboration
between the famed Ahn Trio and the Billings Symphony shall showcase Beethoven’s awe-inspiring Triple
Concerto and culminate in a vibrant rendition of Stravinsky’s riveting Pulcinella Suite.

Celebrated across the globe for their profound artistry and genre-defying talent, the Ahn Trio embarks
on a musical voyage to captivate the hearts and souls of the Billings community, inviting them to
immerse themselves in an evening of sublime melodies and vibrant orchestration. Their performance
promises to leave audiences spellbound, resonating long after the closing notes have faded.

At the core of this exceptional program awaits a rare gem amongst Beethoven’s repertoire – his radiantly
joyful Triple Concerto. The Ahn Trio, in harmonious collaboration with the Billings Symphony, will
unearth the essence of this uncommon masterpiece, weaving together three powerful voices – the
enchanting violin of Angella Ahn, the heartfelt piano of Azusa Hokugo, and the profound cello of Maria
Ahn. Through stunning virtuosity and deep musical synergy, this interpretation of the Triple Concerto will
transport listeners to a realm where Beethoven’s genius is palpable.

As the evening’s magic unfolds at the Billings Symphony yet again, Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite plans to
enchant the audience with its quirky humor, gritty rhythm, and colorful orchestration. Infused with other
hallmark Stravinsky-isms, his Pulcinella Suite guarantees a delightful feast for the senses and promises an
alluring blend of 20th century rusticism and 18th century Italian lyricism that is all but irresistible.
Stravinsky artfully coupled with the electric performance of the Beethoven Triple Concerto by the Ahn
Trio will undoubtedly present an evening of enduring exuberance for all listeners.

Tickets for Strings Attached featuring the Ahn Trio are now available from the Alberta Bair Theater box
office at 406-256-6052 and online at www.billingssymphony.org. This enchanting evening of musical
brilliance and artistic collaboration is an opportunity that the Billings community must not miss.
